One of the world’s 50 largest coffee producers, Detay Kahve, which includes companies such as Kahve Dünyası and Altınmarka, has renewed its head office in Kabataş, Istanbul. The project, in which we manage the lighting design and technical-decorative luminaire production processes, includes different dynamics such as open offices, private study, resting and meeting rooms, general meeting and resting rooms, and chocolate production laboratory.
The lighting design of the project, which has a low ceiling height, was created in a way to keep the glare effect to a minimum. The idea of the architect’s team to provide depth on the ceiling in private study and meeting rooms was reflected in the spaces with specially designed semi-indirect decorative ceiling fixtures.
The body material and color choices of the decorative fixtures in the rooms have been planned in a way to create a common language with the furniture.
General lighting, where we frequently benefit from reflected light, was supported by spot effects on the floor. The dimmable fixtures allow users to adjust the light intensity at different times of the day.
