Successful fashion designer Arzu Kaprol used fiber optic lighting technology in clothes designed with a multi-disciplinary approach to the Vodafone Digital Transformation Summit.
With the theme of ‘The Source of Life’ fiber technology was used in clothes, jackets, bolero and belt designs.
The light sources used to feed fiber cables of different lengths are hidden in the abdomen and back areas of the designs.
The energy required in the fashion process was provided by the batteries positioned in the same area as the light sources.
